The Microsoft had not yet released any schedules or any test releases. The first service pack for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 may be not include a lot of new features and it will contain minor updates only. The Server Data (variant) of the service pack will introduce RemoteFX and Dynamic Memory.
Users will able to work remotely in a Windows Aero Desktop environment with Microsoft RemoteFX and not only that, we(users) can watch full-motion videos, enjoy Silverlight animations and 3D applications too.
Dynamic Memory is an improvement to Hyper-V which allows users to pool all available physical host memory together, and dynamically allocate it to virtual machines. If the workload changes, Virtula Machines can get access to extra memory without shutting down.
